Hidden Sill Spirits continues the long history of distilling spirits which can be dated back to 1753. The name is derived from how the process of distilling spirits had been conducted many times throughout history. The facility, not far from West Chocolate Avenue, is in an old plant that was previously used to service The Hershey Co. and now produces handcrafted small batches of bourbon, whiskey, vodka, gin and rum.

Located a short walk from downtown Lancaster, Thistle Finch Distillery is located in the former Walter Schnader Tobacco Warehouse that was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
