Outlawz Distillery owner Ralph Miller believes sometimes family is more than blood. The name “Outlawz” comes from a long-standing Miller family tradition. When they were young, Sunday afternoons often meant piling into the car as Dad would say, “Kids, we’re going to visit the in-laws… and the Outlawz.”
Over time, the name Outlawz became a proud title for those who married into the family — brothers’ wives, a sister’s husband, and Ralph’s own wife. What started as a playful nickname grew into something more meaningful: a badge of honor representing the people who became part of the Miller family by choice, loyalty, and love.
