1 Big Spring Spirits

With an emphasis on local, Big Spring Spirits founder Kevin Lloyd envisioned opening a community-centric craft distillery in the heart of Central Pennsylvania. When the opportunity arose to set down roots in Bellefonte’s beautiful Match Factory in 2014, it was an easy decision. Since then, Big Spring Spirits is proud to be able to a partner with this community, sourcing from our local farmers and artisans, whenever possible.


2 Blackbird Distillery

Brookville, PA

Blackbird Distillery creates a variety of old-fashioned moonshine. With more than 10 varieties ranging from peach and pineapple to root beer and traditional American shine, there’s a taste for everyone to enjoy. Visitors can explore the distillery to sample various moonshines, as well as smoked meats made with their homemade pepper mixes and seasonings.


3 Chicken Hill Distillery

Elk County’s first distillery, taking great care using the finest ingredients and using the painstaking process of distilling to make a great tasting moonshine!


Sam Cummings, Jr. and Tom Jones started their distillery from scratch and it is their goal to make CJ Spirits a premier tourist destination and also a world class producer of fine spirits. The distillery is located along historic Route 6 in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest. Stop by for a tour and a tasting.


5 Wilds Sonshine Factory

Kane, PA

Wilds Sonshine Factory is a new, innovative distillery located in Kane, PA that produces “sunflower spirits” called “SONSHINE” – trademarked as the original distilled spirit made only from sunflowers from the PA Wilds region! At the heart of their Northern PA space is the tasting bar, renowned as “The World’s Longest Table made from One Continuous Piece of Wood,” where guests can enjoy a delightful experience.
