Pennsylvania Distillers Win Big at 2025 American Craft Spirits Association Awards
Nine Pennsylvania Distillers Guild members combined for 34 medals at the 2025 American Craft Spirits Association Awards.
Wigle Whiskey led the way with fourteen medals including a Best in Class and Gold medal for its Dutch Style Gin. Eight Oaks Farm Distillery received an appropriate eight medals. Pittsburgh’s Sweet Rust won its first ever medal, a Gold for its blending of their Strip District Blend, and Botanery Barn proved its Revivalist Garden Gin’s beauty isn’t just skin deep with a Gold Medal in the gin category.
The American Craft Spirits Association is the only national registered non-profit trade association representing the U.S. craft spirits industry. Its mission is to elevate and advocate for the community of craft spirits producers. Its annual awards competition is made up of hundreds of spirits. This year, the judging panel awarded 35 gold, 162 silver, and 114 bronze medals.
Historically, Pennsylvania does well at these awards and this year was no exception. The state placed first with total medals (34) and tied for second in number of winning distilleries with nine, second only to Tennessee’s ten.
