PA Distillers Shine at ADI 2026 International Spirits Competition
Nine Pennsylvania distillers combined for 43 awards at the American Distilling Institute’s International Spirits Competition for 2026.
Guild member County Seat Spirits landed America’s Greatest Gin 2026 – Best of Class award for its Lock Keeper Barrel Finished Gin. Wigle Whiskey brought home 18 awards including Best of Category for its Apple Old Fashioned and a Gold Medal for its Reserve Cask Strength Bourbon. Horse Hollow Distillery’s Pink Flamingo canned cocktail also won a Best of Category award.
The 43 medals won by Pennsylvania distillers were third most by state. Only Kentucky and California won more.
This year, the judging panel awarded 18 Best of Class Awards, 79 Best of Category Awards, 33 Double-Gold Medals, 89 Gold Medals, 254 Silver Medals and 146 Bronze medals.
ADI has held its International Spirits Competition since 2007 and is seen as one of the most prestigious competitions in the world.
