Pennsylvania’s first commercially available rum since Prohibition, Maggie’s Farm began distilling rum from turbinado sugar in 2013 in Pittsburgh’s historic Strip District on a 75-gallon pot still.
Since then, Maggie’s Farm has become the most-awarded brand of rum in North America with over 100 medals and accolades, including Best-in-Show Spirit from the American Craft Spirits Association and Best Overall Rum from the world’s largest spirits competition, the San Francisco World Spirits Compeitition.
In 2024, Maggie’s Farm opened a new state-of-the-art distillery in Pittsburgh’s South Hills with an 800-gallon custom designed pot still, as well as full service bar and restaurant.
