Grumpy Goat Distillery built every piece of equipment used in their distillery themselves. This allows them to customize their liquor to suit their customers’ taste, painstakingly crafting each recipe to ensure the resulting spirit is one they would serve at their own table. The Veteran-owned distillery takes great pride in knowing that every single item is made from start to finish on-site using local ingredients whenever possible. They do not, and will not, purchase any alcohol from an outside source and their mashes are cooked and fermented in the basement of the distillery according to their very own mash bills. They then distill their mashes in one of four 50-gallon stills – adhering to the small batch philosophy. Each bottle produced by Grumpy Goat is filled by hand and inspected before being placed on their shelf.
