💃Cans Can Wigle Will

Launching, Monday, April 6, Wigle Whiskey is getting into the RTD game with a lineup of five canned cocktails. The cans range from 5 to 7% ABV and feature vodka and bourbon.

Stateside Brands launches Super Lyte, a new line of canned cocktails. Super Lyte features no bubbles, no sugar and just 90 calories per can. Flavors are inspired by classic sports drink flavors.

Philadelphia bars, restaurants and even distilleries will  have the option of staying open till 4 am during the World Cup. Governor Josh Shapiro has signed Act 8 of 2026 (“Act 8”) into law. Our General Counsel, Anthony Brichta provided us a memo on the legislation.

Copper Bonnet Distillery announces it has become the preferred gin and the Official Gin Canned Cocktails of the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer.

BOTLD is maybe best known for its Bird Gang line of Philadelphia Eagles branded spirits. It has also gotten contracts to do similar lines for the Baltimore Ravens, Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders. Last month the King of Prussia company expanded into hockey, with the launch of Detroit Red Wings Centennial Whiskey celebrating the NHL club’s 100th anniversary.

Jimmy Juice partners with three Pennsylvania minor league baseball teams to offer canned cocktails at the old ballpark.

Noted spirits writer Lew Bryson is writing a new book. And this one is going to be an illustrated guide to whiskey. Artist, Em Sauter will be doing the artwork. Look for it to be published in 2027.

Iron City Distilling distiller Matt Strickland has published a new book, Whiskey: From Grain to Glass. “Written for distillers and enthusiasts alike, Strickland takes the reader on a grand tour of every aspect of whiskey production.”
